John Mohan went 13 of 15 from the line for a game high 22 points and scored the last 3 points of the game to seal the championship win for Calvary Chapel.

Community Baptist vs. Calvary Chapel 1

The championship game lived up to it's billing as it came right down to the wire. Community Baptist came out firing on all cylinders on defense as both teams struggled to hit shots early on. Calvary Chapel struggled early against the 2-3 defensive zone put on by Community Baptist and Community controlled the game for much of the first half. Jim Cattaneo made some excellent drives to the basket scoring and getting fouled.

Still, no one could find an answer for John Mohan as he slashed to the basket and made some amazing shots. Even so the game was close and with just 50:4 seconds left Community Baptist led by 1, 49 - 48. Josh MacLennan posted up and made a nice move scoring the basket and getting fouled for a 3 point play putting Calvary up 51 - 49 with just 30 seconds remaining. He then hustled back on defense making a nice block on Jeremy Hueston down low and causing a turnover.

With no other options, Community Baptist had to foul and unfortunately the ball was thrown in to John Mohan both times who sunk 3 of the 4 free throws to seal the win 54 - 49.

Haven of Grace vs. Calvary Chapel 3

In somewhat of a tasteless move, Calvary Chapel 3 did not show up for their game against Haven of Grace. Only Scott Maiden showed up ready to play, causing a forfeit and giving Haven of Grace the 3rd place spot for the year.
