Co-player of the week this week go to Jamie Fuller of Calvary Chapel 3 and Brandon Bain of Calvary Chapel 1. Jamie scored only 2 points but they were huge, a game winning layup with mere seconds left. Brandon filled in exceptionally well for John Mohan scoring 23 on a depleted Calvary Chapel 1 team that dressed only 4 players to start the game and 5 overall.

Haven of Grace vs. Community Baptist

The score is not indicitive of how back and forth this game was right up until the end. Haven of Grace slashed to the basket scoring layup after layup but struggled to hit any outside shots.

Community Baptist stuck with what works for them, hitting 10 shots from the perimeter. This game was within 5 for most of the game, and only stretched past that in the last few minutes as Community Baptist went on to win 59 - 43.

First Baptist vs Calvary Chapel 1

A scheduling miscommunication saw Calvary Chapel 1 dress only 4 players for the first 10 minutes of the game. First Baptist kept it close early with the extra defender.

Brandon Bain turned it on for Calvary Chapel 1, scoring 23, including 5 3-pointers as they pulled out the 54 - 23 win.

Calvary Chapel 2 vs Calvary Chapel 3

This game was a dog fight from the beginning. Both teams play very physical and that kept the score low. At half the score was all tied up at 28 with no sign that either team would take over the game.

Back and forth it went in the second half and Calvary Chapel 2 tied it up at 38 with under 30 seconds to play. It seemed overtime was imminent as it stayed tied with less than 10 seconds left when Jamie Fuller broke free and scored a layup with only seconds left to give Calvary Chapel 3 the 40 -38 win.
